Terms:

Our standard terms are 50% deposit upon placement of the order and 50% due upon shipment. Terms are available for established customers.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express as well as checks and wire transfers.

 Your quote from Downtown Decorations, Inc will include all terms and information pertinent to your product.

 

 

Shipping Information:

Orders for supplies such as lightline, bulbs, and will generally ship within 1-2 days upon receipt of order with proper terms.

Standard decorations generally have a 3 week lead time. However, as the holiday season approaches we get extremely busy so please place your order as soon as possible.

Banners & brackets and small supply items such as bulbs, lightline, and supplies ship via either FedEx Ground or UPS Ground.

Large decoration items ship via motor freight. Your account executive will provide you with a quote at the time of order.

Acceptance of Merchandise/Freight Claims:

All claims for merchandise delayed, lost or damaged in transit, are the responsibility of the consignee. All merchandise is carefully inspected before packing and is packed in an approved manner when it leaves the factory. When accepting a shipment, any missing cartons or visible damage must be noted on the receiving ticket before signing. Any claims for concealed damage must be handled with the delivering carrier. Failure to properly handle claims may mean refusal of the claim.

If a carton arrives damaged, please take the time to inspect the product inside. We take great pride in our packing abilities and just because the box may appear damaged, the product inside usually is not. If the product is damaged please note it on the ticket and contact your account executive.

 Returns:

All returns must be authorized your account executive. We will not accept unauthorized returns. Returns may be subject to a 20% restocking fee and return freight costs. Items must be complete, unused, and in their original packaging if applicable. No returns on custom product.

 

Banner Warranty:

Exterior Banners, manufactured on Sunbrella or 18 oz. vinyl fabrics in standard sized of up to 30 X 94 and when attached with full top and bottom bracket arms, are warranted for three (3) years from date of purchase against defects in material and craftsmanship when installed and maintained on Fibreflex Brackets or approved brackets. Our Banners attached on hardware that allow the banner to “fly” at the bottom are not warranted after installation.

During normal use, inks are covered against cracking, peeling, or chipping. A minimal amount of ink color fade can be expected with come ink colors due to UV exposure over extended periods (10% after one and a total of 15% after two). Ink colors containing florescent pigments carry no fade warranty. Contact your sales representative for more information.

 

Bracket Warranty:

All FibreFlex Bannerware is warranted for EIGHT FULL YEARS when installed according to approved methods

 

Holiday Decoration Warranty:

Outdoor decorations by Downtown Decorations, Inc. are manufactured to the highest quality industry standards. Downtown Decorations, Inc. warrants to the original buyer that all decorations and accessories manufactured by it will be free from defects in material and workmanship. This protection is extended to the original buyer for Five (5) Christmas seasons (under normal conditions of use and service) from original date of shipment. Downtown Decorations, Inc.'s obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing, at its option, any part found to be defective. Maintenance of decorations, labor to install and cost of shipping are not included in warranty. The warranty extends only to the original buyer when authorized by the factory and once full payment has been received per terms of sales agreement and is expressly in lieu of all other limited warranties expressed or implied. The limited warranty does not cover rope light, bulb burnouts, broken bulbs, electrical shorts, or damage caused by the customer or installer. Rough handling or undue vibration in transit may cause bulb damage. Therefore, units should be tested for bulb outage prior to installing. A reserve quality of bulbs should be ordered for anticipated replacements. Electronic animation controllers used on some decorations are covered by the original manufactures one-year warranty. Products modified by the customer without express written permission from Downtown Decorations, Inc. void warranty. Downtown Decorations, Inc. must be notified of warranty situation by 12/31 in year warranty occurs. Authorized returns must be received at the Downtown Decorations, Inc. facility 30 days from receipt of written return authorization.
